3 Steps to Get Fit!

 If you are serious about working out and getting in shape then you have to have a smart plan and be absolutely willing to take action to make it happen. Getting fit takes work, smart planning, and consistency. If you are willing to do all of this then you have got to follow the plan that I have here for you. Read and apply.

3 Steps to Get Fit!

1. Modify Your Eating Habits: This one may seem a bit obvious, yet 95% of most people don't do it. If it is so obvious then why in the hell aren't people doing what they should be doing? Its because they have a lack of internal motivation. Don't let this excuse deter you from getting this step complete. If that is the case then simply stop reading this article and wasting your time right now. There is no "miracle pill" or "miracle diet" that is going to get it done. There is only your willingness to stay the course day after day and week after week. Just simply eat healthy. There are no secrets here its just about you eating fruits and vegetables instead of candy bars and twinkies. If you can start doing this consistently then you are already ahead of the game.

2. Train Smart: Now what I mean about training smart is that workouts that get you fit have more to do with HOW you are training instead of how LONG you are training. Truthfully if you are engaging yourself in exercises that are multi-joint in nature (involving more than one joint) then you are going to get a much more profound training effect from your workouts. Forget about the machines and work on exercises for fitness such as push ups, squats, burpees, and pull ups. You are much better off with these whole body movements in terms of you getting optimally fit. These type of exercises encompass a REAL workout!

3. Train With Kettlebells: Now with this one I am being very direct with you. Being a strength and conditioning professional and having kettlebells as the center of my training program I fully understand the benefits of this ancient device. If you haven't had experience with kettlebells then you are missing out. This style of strength training is very dynamic in nature and offers a battery of lifts that you could design an entire seasonal program from. Kettlebell workouts are workouts to get you fit, period. Your body will be more mobile, more toned, stronger, and more conditioned from kettlebell training than any other style of strength and conditioning training you can come up with. If you haven't already started to dabble in this particular style of workout then you are missing out. Remember to train hard, but only the best train smart my friend! Follow these steps to get fit.
